THE IMPORTANCE OF A CYBER SECURITY ASSESSEMENT
Answers will help ensure that necessary security controls are integrated into the design and implementation to better secure your business/home from cyber-crime.
Our Cyber Security Assessment will determine and discover
- your business's or home's current structure
- current security measures in place (if any)
- what programs, hardware, applications you, family and staff use day to day
- how they are accessed, controlled and managed (known as IAM-AC- Identity Access Management and Access Control).
Answers to your custom questions will be evaluated and written up in a final Strategy Assessment Report (approx. 20 pages). It will highlight your :
- Cyber Security gaps, known as your security posture
- Identify vulnerabilities (weaknesses)
- priority actions to mitigate, these are aligned to risk, cost and ROI (return on investment)
- Cyber Security protection roadmap, noting that you can not protect and secure everything at once.
We propose to complete the Cyber Assessment with you during our consultation.
APPROACH & BUSINESS FRAMEWORK
Determine your Cyber Maturity Level
Once we have completed your customised Cyber Security Assessment (questions) we will determine your current security posture (levels 0 - 4)
For example, Level 1 represents basic cyber hygiene.
Once we have enabled controls such as password manager, two factor authentication (2FA login), VPN access, anti-virus software, incident response plan your cyber security maturity level will increase (a good thing!)
